“Come. It is happening,” said Sooth.

GoGo and Sooth ran down the mountain tunnel. Omar’s beastly screams could be heard echoing

               against the rocks.

                       “Oh, god,” GoGo said.

They reached the observation cave. Daka and Zuba were there. GoGo looked down into the

pit and gasped. Omar was depraved and sweating profusely. He banged his fists against the pit

walls like a banshee. He looked up at the observation cave. His eyes were red bulbs of bloodlust.

               He screeched, inhuman and chilling.

“Blood! Give me blood! Konkoo be na!” yelled Omar, his fangs dripping with saliva.

GoGo was beside herself. “I’m coming!”

“No!” Sygnosis shouted. “Do not interfere!”

                       Sooth restrained the queen.

“Let me go! Let me go!”

“We must let them unspawn,” Sooth said.

Sygnosis got up. She dodged Omar’s attempts to attack her. She jumped onto his back and

wrestled him to the ground. She locked him in a chokehold and wrapped her legs around him. He

thrashed like a mad dog but she held him in her vice-like grip.

                       “Look!” said Daka.

Sygnosis and Omar were slowly disappearing. Sooth released GoGo as the two vampires’

physical bodies unspawned under pulses of distorting heat waves, and then vanished into thin air.

Sooth rushed over and placed the ladder into the pit. They all climbed down quickly. They could

only stare in shock at the white stains on the floor and the wall where the vampires’ bodies had
