“The way Orpheus knew Eurydice?” said the vampire.
“The way Tristan knew Isolde,” replied GoGo.
Sygnosis voice filled with delight as she backed away with a provoking sway of her hips.
“The way Odysseus knew Penelope?”
GoGo pursued her. “The way Mtume knew Olufunmilayo.”
She pulled the vampiric beauty into her arms. Sygnosis sunk into her embrace.
“The way Lilith knew Adam?” Sygnosis said.
“The way Adam knew Eve,” replied the queen.
Sygnosis lifted off the ground and wrapped her legs around GoGo’s body as her hair
cascaded over GoGo’s face.
“Thee weighs nothing,” said GoGo shocked.
“I am Lilith. Thou art Eve. Enfold me and feel what was forbidden.” Sygnosis nibbled her
full lips then bit them like grapes.
“I did not thank thee for thy healing,” GoGo said softly.
“Then thank me now,” whispered Sygnosis and exhaled gently into GoGo’s mouth.
GoGo inhaled the Darkling’s azulin-laced breath, a sexual alkahest more potent than
smoke from the purest opium. GoGo convulsed. Her crease ignited. Enraptured, they fell
intertwined onto the bed. GoGo’s hands explored Sygnosis pale, nubile body, ancient yet ageless
and unravaged by time. She slid down to the Darkling’s perspiring belly. Her tongue licked the
sweet sweat . . . vampire sweat. Each drop filled with a mélange of erotic stimulants, pungent
aromas, and fruity pheromones, secreted to tantalize then trap the vampire’s warm-blooded prey.
Any other night, Sygnosis’ fangs would have devoured GoGo but tonight the prey was the
seductress. The African moth fluttered above the carnivorous plant without peril.
GoGo plunged her thirsty tongue into Sygnosis’ navel releasing the nectar that spilled now
from the flower below it. Her legs, white petals, opened and GoGo drank from her grail, from her
glory. Sygnosis’ body flinched. Her arm dropped over the side of the bed. Long nails grew from
her fingers. Her hand trembled with pleasure. Her nails slammed into the bedside in carnal ecstasy
